Artist Seffy Soomro belongs to dharki district of ghotki, Sindh. He exhibited his paintings (finger works) in 2017 at Frere Hall Karachi. Later, instead of returning them, they were told that the paintings were lost, which may have been sold and recently featured in ARY "Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum" appeared in an episode 17 scene of the play 2024.
We strongly condemn such injustice to our young talented artist of Sindh.
We are ready to fight his case for free.
And will ensure the return of his paintings with fines, and provide legal assistance on every step. Until all those involved in this crime are prosecuted.

It is significant to highlight that according to the statistics provided by the Law & Justice Commission of Pakistan, there are about 2.2 million (2,255,295) cases pending before all courts in the country. Such frivolous, vexatious and speculative litigation unduly burdens the courts giving artificial rise to pendency of cases which in turn clogs the justice system and delays the resolution of genuine disputes Such litigation is required to be rooted out of the system and strongly discouraged and one of the ways to curb such practice of instituting frivolous and vexatious cases is by imposing of costs under Order XXVIII, Rule 3 of the Supreme Court Rules, 1980 which lay the foundation for expeditious justice and promote a smart legal system, enhancing access to justice by entertaining genuine claims.
