Team of Farooq & Danyal Law Company, under the lead of Mr. Farooq Iqbal Khan, Advocate, appeared before the Civil Court on behalf of IG and SSP Islamabad, to defend the case filed by Bilal Travels and Tours against the IG and SSP, Security, Islamabad for recovery of Rupees Two Hundred Million, while alleging therein that due to the sheer acts of violations on the part of SSP Security while operating in the diplomatic enclave Bilal Travels and Tours had lost its business worth millions, while arguing on behalf of IG and SSP Islamabad Mr. Farooq Iqbal Khan, Advocate, emphasised that the IG and SSP are performing there duties to protect the missions, diplomats and the embassies, situated at the diplomatic enclave, and for that purpose each and every step is taken by them with due diligence and in good faith, he also pointed out the violations of the agreement commited by Bilal Travels. After hearing the arguments the Court while calling back the order of status quo ordered the company to produce evidence in support of their claim.

Senior Special Magistrate, Islamabad, today take up the case of Encroachment of land, destroying of landscape and felling of almost 900 trees alongside The Monal Restaurant, Margallah Hills, Islamabad. While appearing on behalf of State/CDA, Mr. Farooq Iqbal Khan, Advocate, argued before the court that the accused persons have failed to appear before the Court despite issuance of notices to the accused persons twice, it was further argued by Mr. Farooq Iqbal Khan, Advocate, that the accused persons i.e. The Owner and the General Manager of the Monal Restaurant, in connivance with others have cut down almost 900 trees and have also destroyed the landscaping of Margallah Hills, the concerned authorities have calculated the damage to the tune of Rupees Twenty Million, however the officials are still working on estimating the actual damage caused. After hearing the arguments the court took serious notice of the conduct of both the accused persons and has directed the accused persons to appear before the court on the next date of hearing, it was further ordered that in case of failure of the accused persons to appear before the court, the warrants of arrests will be issued, now the case has been adjourned for attendance of the accused persons and framing of charge.
