Following the reported dog culling incident in Korang Town, Islamabad, legal proceedings have been initiated to seek accountability and ensure that such actions are addressed through lawful channels.

Every life matters, and responsible animal population management should be based on humane, lawful and sustainable solutions — not indiscriminate killing.

This is a step toward a system where animal welfare, public safety and the law can work together.

Speak for those who cannot speak. Stand for humane and lawful solutions. 🐾🇵🇰

Legal Action Over Dog Culling in Korang Town, Islamabad

A few days ago, an alleged incident of illegal dog culling took place in Korang Town, Islamabad. According to the evidence available with us, a private waste management company was called to carry out the killing of dogs in the area.

Such actions raise serious legal concerns and must comply with the applicable law and directions governing the humane management of stray dogs in Islamabad.

Awami Tehreek-e-Bezuban has initiated legal action, and legal notices have been served on the concerned individuals and parties.

No private company, society administration, or individual can take the law into their own hands and carry out dog culling without lawful authority and compliance with legal requirements.

This is not just about Korang Town.

If such unlawful actions take place anywhere in Islamabad, Awami Tehreek-e-Bezuban will pursue the matter through the appropriate legal forums.

The law must be respected. Court orders must be followed.

We will continue to take lawful action to protect animals and ensure that such actions are addressed through the proper legal process.
