In a tragic incident in Karachi, a software engineer kil*led his company's CEO over unpaid salary.

The event took place at an office on Shahrah-e-Faisal, where the engineer, Shoaib, enraged by his unpaid wages, at*tack*ed CEO Naveed.

Despite attempting to flee, Naveed collapsed in the building's basement and later died in the hospital.

Shoaib, was arrested by the police. Naveed, who was third among six brothers, leaves behind three children.

۲۰۲۴ کے بجٹ نے جہاں ٹیکسز مئی اضافہ کیا گیا وہیں پر فائلر ہونے کے بہت سا ٹیکس ایگزمپشن بھی دئ اورفائلر ز کے لئے پراپرٹی پر کیپیٹل گین ٹیکس ،سیلز ٹیکس ، گاڑیوں کی پرچیز اور سیل پر نان فیلرز کی نسبت کافی کم ٹیکس ، اِسکے علاوہ ایکسائز اور کسٹمز کی ڈیوٹی اور کاروبار میں بھی فائلر کے لئے چھوٹ رکھی گی اس کے برعکس نون فائلر کے لئے اب نا صرف ٹیکس مئی اضافہ کر دیئے بلکہ نون فیلر کے لئے ڈیلی بیسز کی ٹرانزیکشن بینک سائی پیسے نکلوانے پر بھی اب ٹیکس دینا پڑتا ہے جبکہ پراپرٹی کی خرید تو قریب نا ممکن بنا د گئی لہٰذا اب پاکستان م فائلر بنے بغیر بہت سائی مسائل ہیں فائلر بنناآب ہر شخص کی اپنی ضرورت ہے

FBR has issued Tajir Dost (Special) Procedure, 2024 applicable on shopkeepers/ traders.

Due date of registration is 30th, April 2024.

MinimumAdvanceTax payable is Rs1200 per annum. (If tax payable is zero).

ایف بی آر (FBR) کی جانب سے تاجر دوست اسکیم متعارف کر دی گئی جس کے مطابق تاجر ٹیکس نیٹ میں آئیں گے۔

ذرائع کے مطابق ابتدائی مرحلے میں کراچی، لاہور، پشاور، راولپنڈی، کوئٹہ اور اسلام آباد میں رجسٹریشن ہو گی۔

ٹیکس کلیکشن یکم جولائی سے شروع کی جائے گی۔

علاوہ ازیں اسکیل کے تحت تمام نان فائلرز، غیر رجسٹرڈ تاجروں ، دکانداروں کو #رجسٹر کیا جائے گا۔

رجسٹریشن کی آخری تاریخ 30 اپریل 2024 ہو گی۔

PayPal is poised to enter the Pakistani market through a strategic partnership with an existing international payment gateway, focusing on serving the country's burgeoning freelance and IT professional community. The joint venture announcement is anticipated in the coming week, marking a significant development for Pakistan, which has the fourth-largest freelance community globally, comprising around 1.5 million individuals.

Caretaker Minister for IT and Telecom, Dr. Umar Saif, emphasized the positive impact of this collaboration on IT exports and freelancer remittances, attributing the growth to recent measures supporting a more liberal financial regime. The move to bring PayPal to Pakistan follows persistent efforts by previous governments to convince the platform to operate directly in the country, which faced resistance due to security concerns.

Dr. Saif highlighted the substantial increase in IT export inflows, up by 13% for November, and expressed confidence in launching 5G services in Pakistan by July 2024. The government aims to boost IT exports from $2.6 billion to approximately $5 billion, implementing measures such as allowing IT companies to retain 50% of their export revenue in dollars and launching 10,000 e-Rozgar Centres across the country to support freelancers and start-ups.
