Denis made a great contribution to the development of mountaineering, trained and supported young athletes. During a winter expedition to Gasherbrum, Dan fell into a crack at 5500 altitude and froze heavily. Dennis is still in Pakistan now walking down to military hospital. Helicopter to Skardu could not fly due to snowfall. And he needs money for doctors and recovery more than ever.
