The Legal House represented the petitioner in a matter where the SESSI Department raised an exorbitant contribution demand of Rs. 3 crore. The petitioner opposed the unlawful demand, whereafter the complainant filed a complaint before SESSI, which was not entertained on the precondition of depositing 25% of the demanded amount. Considering the demand to be excessive and arbitrary, the petitioner challenged the same through the present Constitutional Petition. The Hon’ble High Court was pleased to allow the petition, directing the respondent department to entertain and decide the complaint.
