JUSTICE MOVES WHEN DECISIONS ARE MADE.

Congratulations!โš–๐ŸŽ‰

Through the work of MAMLAC Law Student Practitioners Randy Legaspi, Jasper Yauder, and Charmaine Isidoro, the Court was assisted in addressing pending cases involving unrepresented clients. With proper guidance toward dismissal, these efforts helped declog the court docket and advance the speedy administration of justice.

This outcome was made possible through the collective efforts of the Bench, the Bar, and our Law Student Practitioners, demonstrating how experiential legal education translates into meaningful public service.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Judge Eric Voltaire A. Pablo, BCC Margie M. Dela Rosa, Prosecutor Amiel Ronald R. Vinluan, and the Supervising Attorneys for their invaluable support of TSUโ€‘SOLโ€™s experiential learning and continued service to the community.

What concluded as the final activity of last semester now opens this semester, setting a high standard from the very beginning.

Last semesterโ€™s work.
This semesterโ€™s standard.

Justice in action. MAMLAC in Action.
13 cases disposed.

The Tarlac State University School of Law โ€“ Marc Andrei Marcos Legal Aid Center, in partnership with Comillas High School, successfully conducted its โ€œClick Right, Stay Bright: Cyber-Awareness & Responsible Netizenshipโ€ legal aid lecture on December 5, 2025, led by the dedicated students of JDโ€“3A.

The session featured two esteemed resource speakers, Atty. Keenzy May Albay and Atty. Jocelyn Martinez Clemente, who shared insightful discussions on safe online practices, cybercrime prevention, digital responsibility, and the real-world consequences of online behavior. Their engaging presentations empowered students to become more mindful, responsible, and proactive netizens in an increasingly digital world.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Arnold Gamboa, Principal of Comillas High School, for warmly welcoming the Marc Andrei Marcos Legal Aid Center and supporting this initiative for youth empowerment and digital safety.

Safe ride? Check. Legal knowledge? Double check. โœ…๐Ÿšฆ

TODA NA โ€˜TO, Beating the Green Light to a Safer Ride successfully rolled into action on December 4, 2025, at the TSU San Isidro Covered Court, as the Tarlac State University School of Law, through the Marc Andrei Marcos Legal Aid Center, brought the law closer to the road. This legal aid seminar proved that safer streets begin with informed driversโ€”and that legal awareness is the best fuel for responsible public transport.

Taking a well-deserved break from their pasada, TODA members attentively engaged in the discussion led by Atty. Joseph T. Tagudin, Jr., who comprehensively explained the relevant traffic laws and regulations. The session emphasized a holistic approach to safe and lawful transportation, highlighting not only the rights and responsibilities of TODA members as common carriers but also the rights and protection of the riding public. Adding a practical dimension to the seminar, Miguel Paolo H. Tejero, Law Student Practitioner, led an accident protocol workshop where he thoroughly discussed the proper preparation of a Salaysay, equipping participants with essential knowledge on what to do in the event of road incidents.

The seminar was made even more meaningful by the active participation of TODA members, who enthusiastically joined the discussions, games, and activities. Their energy and eagerness to learn were matched by the excitement brought by fun games and raffle prizes, leaving participants not only better informed but also genuinely delighted.

As the program concluded, the TODA members returned to the road not only with smiles from the games and prizes, but with strengthened awareness of the law and a renewed commitment to safer, more responsible public transportation. Through initiatives like this, the TSU School of Law continues to drive its mission of extending legal education and service to the communityโ€”proving that when the law and the road meet, everyone arrives at a safer destination.

Ang BATAS ay sandigan ng KABATAAN, ngunit ito rin ay paalala ng disiplina at pananagutan.โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿป๐Ÿง’๐Ÿผ

The Tarlac State University โ€“ School of Law (TSU-SOL), through the Marc Andrei Marcos Legal Aid Center (MAMLAC), successfully conducted the legal aid and youth-oriented activity entitled โ€œBATA AT BATAS: Safeguarding the Young, Strengthening the Nation,โ€ in line with the Universityโ€™s continuing commitment to child protection, youth empowerment, and community legal education.

Held on December 3, 2025, at the Ramos National High School Gymnasium, the activity aimed to educate students, parents, and educators on the fundamental rights of children and the laws designed to protect them, particularly in situations involving abuse, neglect, exploitation, and conflict with the law. The seminar emphasized that children are not only the future of the nation but rights-holders whose welfare must be actively safeguarded today.

Through accessible and engaging discussions, the participants were oriented on key child-protective legislations, including the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act and related laws, highlighting practical guidance on prevention, reporting mechanisms, and available legal remedies. The activity underscored the shared responsibility of families, schools, communities, and institutions in creating safe and supportive environments for the youth.

The success of the program reflects TSU-SOLโ€™s steadfast advocacy for justice that reaches the grassrootsโ€”where awareness becomes protection, and knowledge becomes empowerment. BATA AT BATAS stands as a reminder that when we protect our children, we strengthen the very foundation of the nation.

Dahil ang batas ay para sa lahatโ€”lalo na sa kabataang dapat pangalagaan.

The Tarlac State University - School of Law (TSU-SOL), through the Marc Andrei Marcos Legal Aid Center (MAMLAC), successfully conducted the legal aid activity entitled, "Hands Up, Gabriela! Safe Spaces and Anti-VAWC Seminar and Legal Counseling", held in partnership with TSU MOVE KATROPA and the Office of Gender and Development (OGAD), as part of the institution's commitment in proudly pushing the advocacy during the 18-day period of the Anti-VAWC Campaign.

On December 2, 2025, in the Justice Jose C. Dela Rama, Sr. Moot Court, the TSU-SOL, empowered the students from the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) about the underpinnings and intricacies of Republic Act No. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act) and Republic Act No. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act).

By the wisdom and imparted knowledge of Atty. Carisa Marie P. Balilia, participants gained essential insights not only into the law's background and theory, but also on the practical courses of actions available, highlighting the law's applicability to all genders. She also emphasized that there are readily available options for the victims to report, which includes, among others, the Marc Andrei Marcos Legal Aid Center (MAMLAC) of the Tarlac State University - School of Law. The event was also graced by Prof. Christine Janelle M. Santiago, OIC Director of the OGAD, whose presence underscored the university's deep commitment and support for gender-responsive programs and safe spaces advocacy.

Rights matter, and so do the people being served! The TSU-SOL continues to stand in defending rights and building safer spaces where everyone can feel protected, respected, and empowered.
