Are you asked to assume a house and lot but under PAG-IBIG Housing Loan? Read first:

To assume a Pag-IBIG housing loan, the new borrower needs to be approved by Pag-IBIG, and they must provide a valid proof of income, a housing loan application, and other required documents.

A Special Power of Attorney may also be required, depending on the specific situation.
4. Proof of Income:
The new borrower needs to demonstrate their ability to repay the loan by providing valid proof of income.
5. Property Appraisal:
Pag-IBIG will assess the property's current value to ensure it aligns with the outstanding loan amount.
6. Credit Background:
Pag-IBIG will also assess the credit history of the new borrower to determine their eligibility for the loan.
7. Other Documents:
Other required documents may include:
Original and new borrower's ID
Certificate of Acceptance
Business permit (if applicable)
Updated tax declaration and tax receipt
Proof of civil status
Proof of payment of property taxes
Acknowledgment receipt for previous payments, if applicable
