Pastrana Fallar has an extensive aviation and aircraft finance practice. We have an in-depth understanding of the aviation industry and vast array of regulatory requirements. We represent major international and regional carriers, finance companies, insurers, and their foreign advisors.

The work we perform for our airline clients ranges from licensing issues, regulatory compliance, and defending claims in contentious cases. We assist our clients in obtaining operating licenses and in securing approval of schedules, rates, fuel surcharge, insurance surcharge, code share and other commercial agreements before the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board and other relevant government agencies. We advise clients in the interpretation of bilateral air services agreement, code share agreement, and other alliance agreement in the context of Philippine laws. We competently defend our airline clients and their insurers in cases ranging from accidents to carriage by air issues involving passenger, cargo, and baggage claims.

Our aircraft finance experience cover negotiation and documentation of aircraft transactions such as aircraft sale and purchase, aircraft lease, joint or fractional ownership, aircraft registration and deregistration, registration and cancellation of aircraft lien, assignment of rights and other related transactions.
