The Philippine Food Safety Conference 2011 is a nationwide advocacy on food safety. In the second round of holding this annual event, this year’s theme is “The Philippine Food Industry towards Global Competitiveness through Food Safety”.

Over 200 food safety advocates and professionals from the manufacturing, food service, academe, and government sectors all over the country will be attending in order to learn the various food s...afety principles, concepts, management frameworks, best practices, programs, latest tools and techniques, and relevant technologies available to ensure safety in the food that our Filipino consumers are eating in their respective homes or in the food establishments.

The event is packed with around fifteen (15) resource speakers who are food safety experts and advocates from different participating government agencies, academe, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and food companies. Moreover, the event is a good venue of building networks among colleagues and fellow food safety advocates in various segments of the food supply chain.
