We are proud to share a significant milestone in the development of the Bangsamoro Environment and Natural Resources Code (BENRC).
Our Atty. Claudie M. Mendoza, serving as National Consultant, together with Atty. Anna Christiana S. Cuna, Associate Consultant, contributed to the drafting process, from the Inception Report, consultations and KIIs across BARMM, to the Legal Harmonization Matrix, Scoping Report, and the development of the Indicative Outline.
The BENRC seeks to establish a coherent and integrated legal framework for environmental governance in the Bangsamoro, addressing coordination gaps and strengthening sustainable resource management.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Kutawato Greenland Initiative (KGI), especially Sir Dan, Ma’am Raisah, and Sir Doods, as well as The Asia Foundation (TAF), MENRE-BARMM, and partner agencies across the region for their trust and collaboration.
