OFFSETTING OF HOLIDAYS

Pwede bang mag-offset ng mga holidays ang employer?

Pwede, basta properly notified ang DOLE at sinusunod ang guidelines sa DOLE D.A. No. 04-10.

FLEXI-HOLIDAY o HOLIDAY SWAPPING ang tawag dito.

"Flexi-Holidays Schedule refers to one where the employees agree to avail the holidays at some other days provided there is no diminution of existing benefits as a result of such arrangement."

Halimbawa, kung sa BPO ka nagtatrabaho at puro foreign clients ang sine-service ninyo, maaaring sundin ng employer ang holidays ng bansa nila, basta hindi bababa sa dami ng holidays ng Pilipinas.

Para sa karagdagang tanong tungkol sa Flexi-Holiday Schedule o Holiday-Swapping, maaaring magtanong sa 24/7 hotline ng DOLE: 1349.
