Please be advised that the new schedule for the SEMEK Free Legal Aid Service (Free Legal Consultation and Notarization) is currently being finalized. We will issue an official announcement as soon as the revised date is confirmed.

Strengthening Awareness, Advocacy, and Action Against Gender-Based Violence

The Center for Legal Aid and Counseling (CLAC), in collaboration with SEMEK and the Humanitarian Legal Assistance Foundation (HLAF), successfully conducted the Module 2 Training on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) on August 21, 2026, for the CLEP 1 and CLEP 2 Law Student Practitioners (LSPs).

The training provided our LSPs with deeper understanding of gender-based violence, victim protection, proper referral mechanisms, and the role of law students in providing accessible and responsive legal assistance.

Through this activity, our future legal practitioners are further equipped to listen with empathy, respond with sensitivity, and help connect survivors to appropriate legal and support services.

Together, let us continue building a more inclusive, safe, and justice-oriented community.

⚖️ GENERAL ORIENTATION & LSP BRIEFING | SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

The CCDC Community Legal Aid and Center (CLAC) successfully conducted its General Orientation and LSP Briefing for CLEP 1 and CLEP 2 Law Student Practitioners, held on August 15, 2026.

The orientation served as an avenue to formally orient the Law Student Practitioners on the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), including credited hours, externship requirements and documentation, financial and off-campus guidelines, CLAC organizational structure and workflow, activity requirements and timelines, e-filing procedures, and other responsibilities expected of every LSP.

Cordillera Career Development College ranked 88th in the annual World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), constantly improving its ranking since 2022, in the recently released 2026 Rankings.
It remained the top ranked tertiary school in the Cordillera region for the fourth straight year and improved to rank 14 across the nation.
CCDC was ranked among the Top 100 in 19 categories.
The World University Rankings for Innovation is a global ranking system that evaluates universities based on innovativeness, rather than traditional academic metrics. Using 16 categories, it encompasses innovation targets and methods, offering a comprehensive measure of institutions’ creative contributions to societal advancement.
