The Local Government of New Lucena invites the public to the 12th Annual RAID+SV (Run Against Illegal Drugs + Smoking and Va**ng) on August 21, 2026, at the New Lucena Municipal Grounds. Now on its twelfth year, RAID+SV has become one of New Lucena's regular advocacy events, bringing together residents, students, local officials, and fun run enthusiasts in a shared call for a drug free and smoke free community, and in promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among New Lucenahanons of all ages.
The program begins with registration at 5:00 in the morning, followed by a short program and Zumba warm up, before the fun run officially kicks off.
Participants may choose from three categories, a 1 kilometer fun run open to all ages, a 3 kilometer category open to both male and female runners with cash prizes of 3,000 pesos for first place, 2,000 pesos for second place, and 1,000 pesos for third place, or the 5 kilometer category, which offers 4,000 pesos for first place, 3,000 pesos for second place, and 2,000 pesos for third place.
Interested runners may scan the QR code below to pre register ahead of the event. Everyone is welcome to take part, whether to compete, to move, or simply to show support for this yearly tradition of running toward a healthier and safer New Lucena.
