Paragon of Scholarship/Paragon of Self-Development and Paglingkuran ang Sambayanan/nang may Dangal.

Happy birthday to the Dean of UCC College of Law, Atty. Dexter B. Calizar. We wish you good health and a great year ahead. Continue being a role model of Paragon of Scholarship and Paglingkuran ang Sambayanan.

"We are from now on Republicans; that is to say, men of law, able to fraternize with all other nations, with mutual respect and affection. There is nothing lacking, therefore, in order for us to be recognized and admitted as a free and independent nation."

- Emilio Aguinaldo

The Paragon Law Circle stands in solidarity with the Filipino people in commemorating the 128th Independence Day of the Philippines.

In honoring the sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom, the Paragon Law Circle renews its call for nationalism, vigilance, and active citizenship in the face of tyranny, whether manifested through imperialism, oppression, or extractive institutions that undermine the welfare, dignity, and aspirations of the Filipino people.

May we never again find ourselves in dark chapters of our nation's history. May we never again allow the hard-earned freedoms of our people to be eroded by tyranny, complacency, or the concentration of power in the hands of a few.

Congratulations to the Brods and Sisses of Paragon Law Circle, Class of 2026!

Today, we celebrate not only the culmination of your years of hard work, resilience, and sacrifice, but also the beginning of something far greater — a life dedicated to justice, service, and purpose.

As you honor this milestone, may you never lose sight of those who stood beside you throughout the journey. Carry with you the quiet weight of every sleepless night, the joy found in every triumph, and the lessons hidden within every heartbreak and setback — for these moments will become your greatest strength as you face the Bar Examination and the path that lies ahead.

May you continue to uphold the values of service and integrity wherever the law may take you. The road ahead will demand much from you, but today is proof that you are more than capable of rising to the challenge.

Congratulations once again, Class of 2026. Your Paragon Law Circle family is proud of you always.

As we continue our duty to serve the people, we must also equip and prepare ourselves for the battles of law school and the greater fight for justice beyond it.

Welcome to Law School freshies! Thank you for attending and being a part of today’s program. May the wisdom, experiences, and tips shared by UCC-COL alumnus, Atty. Jim Tepase, and our fellow student leader and current BOCC Chairman, LE Marc Ermino, inspire you to become better law students, embodied with devotion, hard work, discipline, and conviction in serving the people.

May you continue striving, not only to finish law school, but to become the kind of lawyers our communities truly need and deserve.

Paragons, thank you for standing with us today in our back-to-back programs. Through this initiative, we were able to provide free meals not only for jeepney drivers but also for taxi and Grab drivers, bus drivers and conductors, Move It riders, guards, and other Filipinos who continue to endure each day despite the worsening political and economic crisis in our country.

These workers and individuals from humble backgrounds spend long hours on the road and in service, surviving on low wages while carrying the weight of rising prices of commodities. Yet, they remain neglected by the very institutions mandated to serve and protect them. The inaction and indifference of those in power only deepen the suffering of the people.

With this small gesture, we hope that, even in the slightest way, we were able to alleviate the burden they continue to face.

As members of Paragons and as law students, we refuse to turn a blind eye to these realities. It is our oath and duty to stand with the people, to serve those whose voices are ignored, and to fight for the dignity, welfare, and justice that every Filipino rightfully deserves.

Tayo ay patuloy na maglingkod sa bayan kahit sa simpleng paraan.

We would like to congratulate you for officially making it into law school. Studying law is a privilege that not everyone is given the opportunity to experience. Here, we do not only study the intricacies of the law, we also discover ourselves, our strengths, our limits, and the kind of person we aspire to become.

However, one does not enter law school unprepared. It is important to know the fundamentals, the realities, and the discipline that come with this journey. With that, let us learn valuable insights and practical tips from one of our esteemed seniors in law school and from one of the UCC lawyers who conquered not only law school, but also the Bar Examination.

Patagons mark your calendars and join us on May 16, 2026, starts at 10:00 A.M, at Dunkin' Edsa Biglang-awa (beside McDonald's)

Come with us as we build camaraderie, wisdom, and resilience together while we face one of the greatest challenges in our pursuit of becoming lawyers: law school.

Jeepney drivers are one of the Philippines modern heroes. Amidst the political unrest in our government, and economical instability by reason of rapid increase of fuel cost which increases the price of our commodity, they have not ceased to show up on the road.

When the government asked them to make a sacrifice, they have done so with gentle hearts. Many of them suffer in silence as they look at the little amount they are able to bring home to their families after a long day of work. But still, they continue to show up, not only for their family but also for the commuters.

Indeed, for us ordinary commuters, jeepney drivers are our heroes. And now, it is our turn to give back, even in the simplest way we can. This small gift symbolizes our grateful hearts, and a message that their sacrifices were seen by us.

Thank you so much for every Jeepney Drivers !
