The rule is simple:
โช๏ธIf the contest or promo rules are clear, they must be followed exactly as written.
โช๏ธIf the rules are confusing or unclear, the court will decide in favor of the participant, not the company that wrote them.
Otherwise, companies could use tricky, vague wording to exclude participants out of their prizes after already declaring them winners.
