A productive Thursday spent attending and participating in a series of Committee Hearings covering various matters related to Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation, Barangay Affairs, Good Government, Ethics and Human Rights, Infrastructure and Utilities, and Education.

These discussions play an important role in addressing community concerns, strengthening local policies, and improving the delivery of services for our constituents.

Today, we proudly join the celebration of Arbor Day 2026, a meaningful reminder of our shared responsibility to care for and protect our environment.

This activity is spearheaded by our City Government thru City Environment and Natural Resources Department, in partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)XIII, Caraga State University (CSU), and the Barangay Local Government Unit of Brgy. Baan Km. 3.

Through tree planting and environmental awareness, we contribute to building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come. Every tree we plant symbolizes hope, growth, and our commitment to preserving nature.

Attended series of Committee Hearings on a busy Thursday.

The 7th Committee Hearing of the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, convened to discuss important environmental issues, including the continued use of single-use plastics and other matters related to environmental protection, sustainability, and compliance.

I also participated the Joint Committee Hearing of the Committee on Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives and the Committee on Public Order and Safety, Committee Hearing of the Committee on Labor, Employment, and Human Resources, as well as the review of proposed local ordinances under the Committee on Laws, Rules and Styles.

These committee hearings are essential in addressing community concerns, strengthening local policies, and ensuring that government programs remain responsive to the needs of our people.

Through collaboration and open dialogue with concerned offices, stakeholders, and fellow legislators, we continue working toward a cleaner, safer, and more progressive Butuan City.

As Chairperson of the Committee of Public Order and Safety, I was tasked by to preside the 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), reaffirming its commitment to maintaining peace, public safety, and a drug-free community.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review and discuss current peace and order concerns, strengthen anti-illegal drug initiatives, and enhance coordination among government agencies, law enforcement authorities, and community partners. Through continued collaboration and shared commitment, we strive to uphold a safe, peaceful, and progressive environment for all residents.

Atong pakigduyog sa pagsaulog sa ika 39th Araw ng Florida uban sa ilang tema:
"Panaghiusa, Paglambo ug Pag-alagad: Padayong Pag-uswag sa Atong Barangay."

Kini nga tema nagpakita sa ilang kusog isip usa ka komunidad nga nagkahiusa alang sa usa ka mas maayong kaugmaon. Pinaagi sa panaghiusa, matinud-anong pag-alagad, ug padayon nga pagtinabangay, sila nagpadayag sa ilang tagsa tagsa ka suporta aron mapadayon ang kalamboan ug kalinaw sa ilang barangay.

Akong pasalamat sa tanan labi na sa amahan sa ilang Brgy. Hon. Theodoro Anchangco ug OIC Hon. Natividad Labial kauban Ang tibook Brgy. Council, mag lider sa kada purok, mga kawani, ug mga lumulupyo nga walay hunong nga naghatag sa ilang panahon ug serbisyo alang sa kaayohan sa tanan.

Joining the celebration of 128th Philippine Independence Day! 🇵🇭

Karong adlawa, atong pasidunggan ang kaisog, sakripisyo, ug gugma sa nasod nga gipakita sa atong mga bayani nga nakigbisog alang sa atong kagawasan. Ang ilang panulondon nagpahinumdom kanato nga ang kagawasan dili lamang usa ka pribilehiyo, kondili usa usab ka responsibilidad nga ampingan ang panaghiusa, integridad, ug paghigugma sa atong nasod.

Samtang atong gisaulog kining mahinungdanong adlaw, padayon kita sa pagtinabangay aron matukod ang usa ka mas lig-on, mauswagon, ug mahigugmaong Pilipinas alang sa umaabot nga mga henerasyon.
