Introducing Reserva & Filoteo Law Office's Senior Partner:

Atty. James T. Reserva

A graduate of Mindanao State University College of Law in 1991. He was one of the 17% lawyers who passed the 1991 Philippine Bar Exam.

Aside from being a long time Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member of the Province of Agusan del Norte since 2007, he is one of the most veteran and experienced litigation lawyers in the province. In his more than three (3) decades of wide and extensive legal practice handling Criminal, Civil, Labor, Election, and Administrative cases before the Regional Trial Courts, National Labor Relations Commission, Constitutional Commissions, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court, one of the most distinguished cases which he handled is the case of NIASSI vs NELU, G.R. 162411, June 2008. The arguments he raised as the lawyer of NIASSI became a doctrine in Labor Law, as a consequence, the decision of the Supreme Court which affirmed the arguments he raised got published in SCRA. Other than that, in his more than thirty years of practice in the CARAGA Region and various parts of the country, he is also known for handling highly controversial political and criminal cases. As recognition of his expertise in Political Law, he was tapped as professor of Political and Constitutional Law at Father Saturnino Urios University College of Law. To date, he constinues to teach Political and Constitutional Law subjects at FSUU College of Law.
