"The grass dries up, the flowers droop, but God’s Word goes on and on forever..."
Everything we see—our wealth, our careers, even our physical strength—has an "end date." When we put our happiness to these things, we feel anxious because we can sense them losing or fading. But God's faithfulness isn't like this; it’s a living foundation.
A Hope That Lives according to Peter
(Book of 1 Peter 1)
🔹️A Brand-New Start: Peter reminds us that through Jesus' resurrection, we’ve been given a "living hope" (v. 3). It isn't a "cross-your-fingers" kind of hope, but a "future-is-guaranteed" kind of reality.
🔹️Pure Gold Faith: God uses Trials as a "gold refiner's fire." When life gets hot and the "grass" of your circumstances dries up, it’s not to burn you—it’s to burn away the fluff so your pure faith can shine (v. 7).
🔹️An Untouchable Inheritance: You have a huge inheritance kept in heaven for you. It’s "stacked high" where nothing can get at it—no moth, no rust, and no economic downturn.
Remember, God is Faithful and unchanging... in 1 Peter 1:5 says God is "God-keeping" you for the salvation that's about to be revealed. You aren't holding onto Him; He is holding onto you.
[8-9] You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don’t see him, yet you trust him—with laughter and singing. Because you kept on believing, you’ll get what you’re looking forward to: total salvation. -1 Peter 1:8-9 MSG
A Short prayer for today :
"Lord, thank You that when my world feels shaky, Your Word is solid. Help me stop trying to water 'dead grass' and instead plant my feet on Your eternal truth. Amen."

🌿 Ang Walang Hanggang Salita
(The Eternal Word)
Everything we see—our wealth, our careers, even our physical strength—has an "end date." When we pin our happiness to these things, we feel anxious because we can sense them fading. Pero ang katapatan ng Diyos ay hindi ganoon; it’s a living foundation.
Isang Buhay na Pag-asa
(A Hope That Lives)
Ayon sa 1 Pedro 1 (1 Peter 1)
🔹 Isang Bagong Simula (A Brand-New Start): Paalala ni Pedro na dahil sa muling pagkabuhay ni Jesus, binigyan tayo ng isang "living hope" (v. 3). It isn’t a "cross-your-fingers" kind of hope, kundi isang realidad na ang ating kinabukasan ay garantisado na.
You aren’t holding onto Him; Siya ang may hawak sa iyo.
Amen."
