My client Mr. HANGU PIPIYA of Angore, Awatangi Block 1788 of PNGLNG Pipeline Segment 2 in Koma Hulia District of Hela Province completed filing his documents in OS (JR) 140 of 2023 applying for Leave of the Court to apply for judicial review to be granted to him and 8 other clan leaders as the Plaintiffs to make their application for an order in the nature of Certiorari to bring into Court and quash the decision of the First Defendant Honorable Kerenga Kua Minister for Petroleum & Energy made and published in Gazette No. G889 on the 9th November 2023 making a Determination on Beneficiary Clans of Awatangi Block 1788 which excludes the Plaintiff's 32 clan names for non compliance with Sections 47, 169 and 170 of the Oil and Gas Act 1998 and for a Stay of the above mentioned determination upon grant of Leave pending the inclusion of the Plaintiffs' clan list containing 32 clan names in the Determination on Beneficiary Clans of Awatangi Block 1788 under Sections 47, 169 and 170 of the Oil and Gas Act 1998.
