📢📢 NID Registration This Weekend in NCD!
Testing of the new Mobile Enrolment Kits 📢📢

We are excited to announce that NID registrations will take place this weekend on Saturday, 25th May and Sunday, 26th May, 2024.

A major sponsor has purchased 20 new Laxton Mobile Enrolment Kits. These kits will be field trialed this weekend and subsequently deployed to the province of sponsorship for a full blown operations. Official announcements on the kits will be made by the Governor of the sponsoring province next week.

Locations:
o NID Haus at Kumul Avenue: For the working class and general public.
o Moale Haus: For children and students.
▪ Time to start: 9am
▪ Time to finish: 5pm

For those who wish to avoid the printing backlog queue of over 800,000+ NID cards and 900,000 Birth Certificate registrations, you can pay for a priority printing service for a fee of K40 payable only through EFTPOS. This will ensure your NID documents will be ready within 10 working days for collection in Waigani.

Below are the requirements for NID and birth registration:
o Applicant’s Clinic Book or any ID copy (Personal ID cards will not be accepted)
o Hospital Birth Certificate
o Witness be:
▪ The Applicant’s father
▪ Someone older than the applicant
▪ National Identification (NID) Card Holder
▪ Witness ID documents has to be attached to the Form 1 – e.g. Driver’s License, Work ID, Passport, National Identification Card (NID Card)
