⚜️ Jamboree PAPUA NEW GUINEA 2026 ⚜️

Jamboree PNG 2026 will be the 100 years National Centenary Scout Jamboree in Papua New Guinea, bringing together around 2,000 local and international scouts in the Pacific including Australia and NZ from 14–24 December 2026 in Port Moresby.

The event will offer ten unforgettable days filled with adventure, friendship, cultural exchange, and exciting Scout activities. Alongside the jamboree experience, strong focus is placed on sustainability, environmental protection, social responsibility, and community wellbeing. 🌱✨

🤝 Strong volunteer support and inclusive community spirit

Jamboree PNG 2026 aims to inspire Scouts in PNG to create a more sustainable and responsible future while enjoying the true spirit of iScouting.

⚜️ What’s coming for Scouting in Papua New Guinea - an historic moment of celebrating 100 Years of Scouting in PNG [1926 -2026]

Greetings to all scouts, leaders, partners and friends of Scouting

As we prepare to celebrate our 100 Years of Scouting in PNG, we are pleased to share with you all the official circular of our 100 years program outlining all acticlvities in commemorating our milestone achievement.

It will be a week-long program hosted by the National Scout Headquarter in Port Moresby from the 14 - 18 December 2026.

The main highlight of the 100 years centenary celebrarion will be the hosting of first-ever National Centenary Camporee to be held at Wariarata National Scout Campsite. More than 2000 scouts and leaders are expected to attend.

Day 4 of Scout Adult Leaders Training on basic Leadership of Scouting at the National Scout Headquarter.

Adult Volunteers and Rover Youths attended the training as part of Scout Capacity Building on Scouting SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and VALUES in order to effectively deliver Scout Youth Program to impact and transform youths and the bring positive change in the communities.

The volunteers and youths were also trained on the new model of our youth program called the ' National Scout Youth Integrated Training Program'. The program is designed to reach out to every youth in the community to engage and empower to become active and productive citizen in the community. It is a ' One - Stop - Youth-Friendly Service Space to help our youths find their purpose and empower them to live a positive, meaningful and productive live in their.communities. The program is currently trialed in NCD and Central will be rolled out in orher centres including Mt. Hagen and Morobe.

We wish to acknolwedged the support of National Youth Development Authority deliver this model as it aligned to its recently launched National Youth Engagement Strategy (NYES) in engaging and empowering youths.

The program will soon be rolled out to other provimces and districts including East Sepik, Morobe, Western Highlands and Eastern Highlands through the endorsement and support of their provincial goverments and Administration in line with the Provincial and District Youth Plan.
