Mathew bought himself an EV but getting it into the garage to charge was a challenge because of this ugly old concrete 'feature'. I removed that and built the retaining wall to give more space in a way that matched other walls on the property. Plus a small wall opposite. A nice job that will add value and convenience to the property.

I love these jobs replacing outdoor roofing - fairly simple yet transformative. The old fiberglass roof here had 30 years of lichen and moss blocking out all sun. The change is impressive, like giving the owners a room back for their house.

Lake Okareka roof paint finished. As ever the key is in preparation - cleaning, priming, etc. Tricky working around cooler temperatures but we got there. Painting the bargeboards 2+ stories up was tricky but easily sorted using a climbing harness and painting sponge.
