Norwegian war sailor Nils Økland just turned 108 years old. During WWII he served onboard several Norwegian merchant ships as gunner. In 1943 he was rescued by the French corvette Lobelia when M/T Daghild was torpedoed in a convoy.

The bridge from Lobelia now lives on Beinskjær outside Sandefjord.

The island and the ship´s story is part of what connects the ocean community in Campus Ocean! Through Campus Ocean we meet and learn in the world´s biggest classroom, the ocean. Nils´and Lobelia´s story is part of that.

The art is free to download, so you kan make your own exhibitions and inspire your friends, your class mates or students!

We hope to see more teachers bringing ocean into classrooms - wether it's art like Prestgaard/Andersen's, getting your feet wet with Lei en biolog, through tech with Ludenso or maybe Blueye Robotics, or playing Kahoots at !

Exciting times at the office, here with Christian Radich & our explorer boat Zoe the RIB in the foreground. Full day with jet boarding , drone diving, journalists, lawyers and doers. We are literary hands on with blue opportunity in the green shift. It’s hard work, but so rewarding. Look forward to share more. Stay tuned.

The Windjammers pile onto Beinskjær (aka EntreprenørSkjær), our peculiar little rock with nothing but an old steering house from an English Corvette, and whale ship.

The Windjammers are young people in need of a bit of direction. At EntreprenørSkjær, which resembles a movie set from Life Aquatic, Wes Anderson’s tribute to everything ocean and exploration, we helped them forge relationships and fall in love with the ocean and its possibilities.

It's a key building block in our "learner to leader" strategy for Campus Ocean⚓️

We are deeply thrilled to have won this price in ’s auction; a dive with ’s submarine, Triton!

With this bid we will also stop 360 tonnes of plastic ending up in the Ocean💪🏼

This arctic dive will take place in Svalbard 🙌🏼
