For the 87th Anniversary of the iconic Ikoyi Club 1938 last year, I had the rare privilege of being the first voice to herald the week-long celebration.

It is therefore truly humbling to be invited once again to herald this year’s 88th Anniversary Celebrations of this event of an institution that is truly Africa’s pride.

And this year promises to be even bigger and more exciting, with over 30 media, fashion, music and stage influencers, among others, already confirmed to grace the occasion.

Looking forward to an unforgettable celebration of legacy, excellence and community.

Living close to nature despite in the city is key for me. But it has its pros and cons. The trees and greenery are soothing and refreshing, but then again, they come with inhabitants of their own. And sometimes, they visit. 😂

Monkeys are one of those inhabitants for us, and this time, they paid my neighbour a visit and decided to have themselves a proper party. 🐒😂

At this rate, won’t we soon start roasting this protein? 🤣

I had the honor of hosting the Lagos State Golf Association Ceremonial Tee-Off and Grand Gala and Prize Giving Ceremony of the Leadership Cup. A truly electric event.

Special thanks to Damilola Sonayon James (Lagos State Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate of the APC) for such a warm and brilliant Tee-Off, Uncle Bisi Olatilo the embodiment of talents for his glowing tributes to me, the leadership of Ikoyi Club 1938 and all Lagos State Commissioners and members of the Body of Permanent Secretaries present. You all made the occasion grand. Golf is truly life.
