Candidates are not required to travel to the University for the exercise.Candidates should also note that OAU DOES NOT ENDORSE or RECOMMEND any CBT centre for the purpose of this exercise.

In the interest of personal security, candidates are advised to disregard any message asking them to report at any UNKNOWN and UNVERIFIED location for the screening exercise.

After uploading your O'LEVEL result for you, I will teach you how to access your JAMB CAPS and check whether your result has been uploaded or not yourself. You will also learn how to be monitoring your JAMB CAPS to know if you have been admitted or not. Knowing how to access your JAMB CAPS is very important because if you don't know it, you will be paying cyber cafe to access it for you* everytime without even knowing that they are accessing your JAMB CAPS for you. 😁

*Imo State University, Owerri, hereby announces to the general public, especially its prospective students, that the registration of candidates for the 2023/2024 POST-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise will commence from Monday, 14th August, 2023 and end 15th September, 2023.*

ELIGIBILITY
✓Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as first choice and scored a minimum of 160 in the UTME.

✓Candidates who did not choose Imo State University as first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website and change their institution of first choice to Imo State University, Owerri

✓ Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree, ‘A’ Level or their equivalents in relevant disciplines and subjects:

✓ Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results were uploaded to JAMB Candidates whose ‘O’ Level results are being awaited are advised to also upload same to JAMB as soon as the results were released.

Candidates that failed to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.
