*TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE 2026 AGC*

Dearest Conferees,

The LOC has put in place transportation plans to convey members from designated points to their various hotels within the city of Port Harcourt. The locations are:

1. *PORT HARCOURT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:*
Buses will be stationed at the airport beginning from Saturday the 22nd of August to Monday, 24th from 8am to 5pm to convey conferees to their hotels.

2. *MAJOR BUS TERMINALS*
Buses will also be stationed at GIG Bus Terminal, Libra Motors Park, Agofure Park, Rivers Joy Park, GUO Bus Terminal and Chisco Park to convey Conferees using any of the aforementioned transport companies to Port Harcourt for the AGC.

Ituah Imhanze, FCArb, is the Managing Partner at KENNA, where he oversees the firm’s technical and professional standards, practice development, and client service. He also leads the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Energy Practice, advising and representing clients on complex commercial and energy related disputes.

With extensive experience in commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, Ituah has acted for international oil and gas companies, financial institutions, regulators, governments and multinational corporations in high-profile disputes before Nigerian and international courts and arbitral tribunals. His expertise spans energy litigation, regulatory compliance, oil spill and compensation claims, and the resolution of complex cross-border commercial disputes.

A Fellow of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Ituah has served as an arbitrator in disputes across multiple sectors and is actively involved in the Nigerian Bar Association through various committees, contributing to the development of legal practice and dispute resolution in Nigeria.

SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: PROF. JOY NGOZI EZEILO, SAN, OON

Prof. Joy Ngozi Ezeilo, SAN, OON, is a law professor, human rights lawyer, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Life Bencher, and internationally recognised advocate whose work spans human rights, international law, gender justice, trafficking, and access to justice. A former United Nations Special Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons, she is the founder of the Women’s Aid Collective (WACOL) and has spent decades connecting legal scholarship with practical interventions for vulnerable communities. She currently serves as an Expert Member of the UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission for Sudan, bringing Nigerian legal expertise to one of the international community’s most consequential human rights processes.

As the legal profession gathers for the 66th Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference, delegates can look forward to a perspective shaped by the intersection of law, human rights, international accountability, justice reform, and social transformation. Her experience across Nigerian institutions and the United Nations offers a distinctly global lens on the responsibility of lawyers—and the role of the profession in advancing justice beyond borders.
