ZETSI AFRICA UNVEILS STUDENTS AGAINST IMMORALITIES CLUB (SAI-CLUB): A BOLD STEP TO CURB SOCIAL VICES ON CAMPUSES

The Zero Tolerance for Social Immoralities Initiative (ZETSI) Africa is proud to officially unveil the Students Against Immoralities Club (SAI-Club)—a pioneering campus-based movement to combat moral decay and rising social vices across Nigerian tertiary institutions.

The launch of SAI-Club forms a major highlight of the forthcoming Leadership Conference 3.0, scheduled to hold from August 26th to 28th, 2025, at the University of Abuja and National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja. Themed “Exploring the Tools of Leadership to Curb the Rising Tide of Social Vices Among Nigerian Students,” the conference will convene over 1,000 student and youth leaders from across Nigeria and Africa to build capacity for ethical leadership and institutional reform.

SAI-Club is designed as a peer-led reform platform that will be inaugurated on August 27, 2025, with pioneer executives across campuses empowered to lead targeted campaigns against cultism, drug abuse, sexual harassment, cybercrime, examination malpractice, and other vices threatening academic environments.

The club will operate under the SAI Campus Charter & Action Guide, in structured partnership with law enforcement agencies and regulatory institutions including the EFCC, NDLEA, JAMB, and the Nigerian Police Force. The platform will also provide moral re-orientation, leadership development, and strategic collaboration between students and national institutions.

According to Amb. Ibrahim Abdulrazak Imam, Chairperson of ZETSI Africa, “This is more than a club—it is a movement of courageous young Nigerians reclaiming their future and standing against the culture of immorality. By investing in this initiative, we’re securing safer campuses and a better Nigeria.”

ZETSI Africa calls on stakeholders, institutions, and development partners to support the SAI-Club and help sustain this transformational agenda.
