The Federal Government appointed a committee to review critically review the remuneration of lawyers in Nigeria and on the 15th of May 2023, the Bar Council approved The Legal Practitioners Remuneration Order 2023.

Strict compliance is expected of all parties and a penalty of debarment will be issued to defaulters.
