📻⚖️ LEPENS ON AIR AGAIN!
Today, LEPENS was live on Solid 100.9 FM, Enugu, continuing our legal enlightenment series on:
COMMON THINGS PEOPLE DO THAT CAN GET THEM INTO TROUBLE WITH THE LAW – EPISODE 2
Today's discussion focused on two very important topics:
✅ Criminal Trespass to Land and Property
✅ Breach of Peace and Public Disturbance
We examined practical situations many citizens encounter daily, including:
▪ Entering another person's land without permission
▪ Taking possession of disputed property through self-help
▪ Public fights and violent confrontations
▪ Disturbances in markets, neighbourhoods and public places
▪ Conduct capable of threatening public peace and order
The response from listeners was overwhelming, with numerous calls and requests for us to continue the discussion next week.
By popular demand, the following topics have been deferred to our next episode:
🔹 Domestic Violence and Spousal Abuse
🔹 Forgery and Uttering of Documents
🔹 Contempt of Court and Disobedience of Court Orders
🔹 Cybercrime and Online Fraud
At LEPENS, our mission remains simple:
To make the law understandable, accessible and practical for every citizen.
As we always say:
"Ignorance of the law is not an excuse."

⚖️ LEPENS RADIO PROGRAMME – EPISODE 2 📻
Last week on LEPENS Radio Programme on Solid 100.9 FM, we had an enlightening discussion on "Common Things People Do That Can Get Them Into Trouble With the Law."
We examined issues many citizens engage in daily without realizing their legal consequences, including:
✅ Assault
✅ Threats and Intimidation
✅ False Accusations and Defamatory Publications on Social Media
✅ Obtaining by False Pretence
✅ Receiving Stolen Property

One of our major takeaways was that:
"The law is not only for criminals; it regulates everyday conduct. What may look like a small mistake today may become a criminal case tomorrow."
This Monday, we continue the conversation in Episode 2, where we shall discuss:
📌 Trespass to Land and Property
📌 Breach of Peace and Public Disturbance
📌 Domestic Violence and Spousal Abuse
📌 Forgery and Uttering of Documents
