I am saddled with deep anger and sadness, drawing from Benue killings and other part of Nigeria by Fulani hersdmen. We the civil society communities condemned this killings, this can never be acceptable!!

This is an internal war going on in Nigeria and yet everyone still lives normal as if nothing has happened!

South-south, southeast, and southwest are worst like Benue State if we neither come together to stop this nonsense. Let's stop attacking ourselves and put our differences aside and stop this killings by all means.

Because it's easier to invade a house that's divided against.

Amnesty International has been documenting the alarming escalation of attacks across Benue state where gunmen have been on a killing spree with utter impunity.

The Nigerian authorities’ failure to stem the violence and identify and bring suspected perpetrators to justice is costing people’s lives and livelihoods, and without immediate action many more lives may be lost.

Authorities must bring suspected perpetrators to justice in fair trial and ensure access to justice and effective remedies for victims, as well as guarantee and protect the rights to life, physical integrity, liberty and security of everyone in the country, as provided for under the Nigerian Constitution 1999 (as amended), and the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights to which Nigeria is a state party.

Benue State Governor has destroyed the notion that says: *when the righteous is in power, the people rejoice.* The so-called "righteous", by his election, has proven worse than the "unrighteous" in power!
