Ekiti State Tijanniyat Islamic Group, Calls For Wrath Of Allah On Bandits Terrorizing Nigeria, Offers 11 Million Special Surah To Tackle Insecurity
Muslims across the country especially in Southwest Nigeria have been charged to participate in a day special prayer until Allah to nip the spate of insecurity, kidnappings and abductions rocking the country in the bud.
A statement issued from the office of the Khalifatul Khulafah , Ekiti State Tijanniyat Muslim Society, Sheikh Maruf Tijani Cissey says all muslims irrespective of their organizations or groups should today Sunday June 7,2026 recite suratul Lahb (popularly known as Tabatiyadah) suratul Fil (Alamtarakayfa) worth 11 million to specially seek the intervention of Allah in the obnoxious incidences of kidnappings and banditry that have crept into most States in the southwest of the country.
The revered Islamic cleric said this special prayers became necessary in view of the looming danger and fear pervading the nooks and crannies of the country especially Yoruba land in recent time.
Sheikh Cissey who noted that prayers are capable of ending wars and criminalities ravaging any society as long it's people change their evil ways and turn back to Allah in repentance urged every Muslim to partake in the prayers holding today.
He bemoaned the dearth of ruthlessness in the operations of the bandits who failed to show mercy and human feelings even to toddlers and young children that were the kidnapped victims in Ogbomosho, and Oyo State and Eda Oniyo in Ekiti State.
The spiritual leader of the Tijanniyat Muslim Society in Ekiti State urged governments at both the State and Federal levels to brace up and do more to bring respite and solace to the grieving people who voted into power adding that peaceful society is the only panacea to meaningful development.
He also emphasized that the acts of the bandits are in contrast with the teachings of Islam and those indulging in acts of kidnapping and banditry against innocent people especially children, women and helpless people should not hide under the guise of Islam to perpetrate any form of evil and transgression which is forbidden by Allah.
