Today, my team from Naziru Aruwa & Partners conducted a pro bono legal outreach at the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Kuje. We encountered enlightening and deeply moving real-life stories and cases that warrant attention. We identified several inmates who have been awaiting justice for an inordinate amount of time, and we will be litigating their cases in court soon. This experience served as a poignant reminder that justice is an inherent right, not a privilege, and we remain committed to advocating for those who are unable to advocate for themselves.
