Summary Dismissal is the right of an employer to dismiss an exployee who has committed a repudiatory breach of contract.

In other words, the contract was terminated as a result of the repudiator's misconduct of the contract as regards the terms of the employment contract which the employer has accepted as bringing to an end of the relationship. Therefore an employee who has committed a sufficiently fundamental breach of his contract of employment can be dismissed summarily by his employer in that case there's an immediate disengagement or separation without notice. Arising from this therefore the employee loses his entitlement to notice or payment in lieu thereof.

In Law, he is deemed to have committed or done an act which skrikes at the root of employment relationship and amounts to a repudiation of contract.

The primary copyright law in Nigeria is the Copyright Act, 2022 and the governing body or government agency in charge of copyright is the Nigerian Copyright Commission(NCC).

Under the Act, Section 2(1) provides the following works as eligible for copyright:
(a) literary works ;
(b) musical works ;
(c) artistic works ;
(d) audiovisual works ;
(e) sound recordings ; and
(f ) broadcasts.
