The Malaysia Middle Temple Alumni Association (TMMTA)

The Malaysia Middle Temple Alumni Association (TMMTA) Over the past 10 years, Malaysian Barristers from Lincoln’s Inn, Inner Temple and Gray’s Inn have, in that order, each formed a Malaysian Chapter of their Inn.

TMMTA is the Malaysian Chapter of The Honourable Society of The Middle Temple and is open to any Malaysian citizen who is a Barrister of Middle Temple and who resides in Malaysia. The Malaysia Middle Temple Alumni Association ("TMMTA") was registered as a Society in January 2011, therefore completing the quartet. TMMTA recently held its 10th AGM on 11th September, 2020 at AIAC in Kuala Lumpur and

the members present elected TMMTA's General Committee for 2020/2021. President: The Hon. Justice Datuk Nallini Pathmanathan
Deputy President: Tan Sri Dato’ Cecil Abraham
Secretary: Nadesh Ganabaskaran
Treasurer: Tan Swee Im

Committee Members:

(2) Dato' M. Rajasekaran
(3) Clive Selvapandian

(5) Samantha Au Yong

There are over 600 Middle Templars in Malaysia. We are privileged to have had 3 Middle Templars as former Heads of the Malaysian Judiciary; Tun Mohamed Suffian Hashim, Tun Mohamed Salleh Abbas and Tun Mohamed Dzaiddin Abdullah. Middle Temple Societies have been registered in Bahamas, Mauritius and Hong Kong, and TMMTA is the first to be formed in a non-island nation. We have established contact with these Middle Temple Societies and we have a very good working relationship with the Middle Temple Secretariat in London. We would like to extend the invitation all Middle Templars in Malaysia to register their interest in becoming a member of TMMTA. Ordinary membership of TMMTA is open to any Malaysian citizen who is a Barrister of The Honourable Society of The Middle Temple and who resides in Malaysia. Please join this page to know more about TMMTA's activities and events. Should you have any enquiries and/or suggestions, please feel free to drop us an email at [email protected] or send us a message here and we will respond to you accordingly. OPINION DISCLAIMER
