“哪间大学比较好？”

而是：

👉 “孩子现在读的这条路，最后到底留不留得下来？”

我整理了几个这两年最常被问的问题。

没有复杂术语。
没有 sales pitch。

只是一些很多家庭“太迟才知道”的现实。

Many Malaysian parents are still planning based on what worked 5–10 years ago.

“Last time my cousin studied Accounting can get PR easily.”

“Engineering should be safe right?”

But Australia’s migration system changed a lot.

Occupation lists changed.
Points thresholds changed.
Competition changed too.

What worked for someone else’s child in 2019
may not work the same way in 2025.

That’s why choosing a degree today is no longer just about:

university ranking
course reputation
family preference

It’s also about:
👉 whether the pathway still makes sense long term.

你在马来西亚的中介做得很好。
问题在于，他们只做了一半的工作。 🚩

这不是对留学中介的批评。他们非常擅长帮你拿到录取通知书（Offer Letter）。这是大学付钱让他们做的事。

但这里有个令人不安的事实：
留学中介的 KPI： 第一学期的入学人数。
移民中介的 KPI： 第四年毕业时的签证成功率。
中间的空档： 没人在检查，你孩子大一选的课程代码（CRICOS），到了大四是否还在移民局的紧缺职业清单上。

真实案例：
一个马来西亚家庭花了60万令吉，供孩子在墨尔本读了商业学士（市场营销）。
毕业时的结果： 技术移民打分 65分。
获邀所需分数： 90分。
现状： 带着一张漂亮的毕业证和一颗破碎的心，准备回吉隆坡。

解决方法：
在你孩子接受那张录取通知书之前，只需问一个问题：
"这个学位是否满足 2年 毕业生工作签证（485）的要求，并且校区是否在 偏远地区 以获得额外的5分加分？"

如果你的中介无法用 《澳大利亚移民法》 的条款来回答这个问题，那你就是在建一座通不到对岸的桥。

There’s a question a lot of Malaysian fathers are carrying quietly right now.

They don’t say it out loud.
Not to their wife.
Not to friends.
Definitely not to the agent.

But it comes up… usually late at night.

“Did I send my child to the right course?”

Not the best university.
Not the most famous degree.

The right course —
for what the family actually wants:

👉 If one day the child wants to stay in Australia… is that path even there?

This question has an answer.

The problem is — most parents don’t know who to ask.

So it stays inside.

And every semester that passes,
it feels harder to bring it up.

If you recognise this feeling —

You didn’t make a careless decision.
You made the best call with what you knew at that time.

The real question now is:

👉 Is there still time to adjust?

In many cases — yes.

But “many cases” is not enough.

It has to be your child’s case, your timeline, your options.

“签证已经批了，应该没问题了吧？”
这句话，其实最危险。

很多马来西亚家庭都是这样开始的——
孩子去澳洲了，签证批了，学费也交了。
一切看起来都很顺。

大家都以为：接下来就是毕业，然后留下来。

但现实是——
很多人是在快毕业的时候，才第一次认真问：

👉 “PR 要怎么申请？”

那一刻，才发现：

有些科系不在清单内
有些方向拿不到分数
有些路，已经走不回头了

不是不努力。
是太迟才知道规则。

最可惜的是——
前面花的时间、钱、期待，
其实一开始就可以规划得更好。

签证批准，只是开始。
不是保证。

中间那几年你怎么走，
才决定最后能不能留下来。

如果你身边有人——
孩子已经在澳洲，或者准备过去的，

真的可以把这篇给他们看看。

很多事情，早一点知道，
差别会很大。

Every education fair will tell you which university ranking is high.

But almost nobody will ask you this one question:
“After your child graduates, can they actually stay in Australia or not?”

Because these are two completely different conversations.
And only one determines whether your RM200K education actually leads somewhere permanent.

We’ve spoken to many Malaysian clients.
The child is already in Australia. Student Visa approved. University enrolled.
Proud moment. Feel relieved — everything is settled.

Then, 2–3 years later, they start asking:
“Eh… after graduation, how to apply for PR ah?”

That’s when the real conversation starts.
And sometimes > it’s already too late.

Australia PR is based on a points system.
What your child studies, their specialisation, and even which state they’re in, all affect the outcome.

Not all degrees are equal.
Not all engineering is the same.
Not all accounting will qualify.

Education agents are paid by universities.
They are very good at enrolling your child.

But nobody is paid to make sure that enrollment leads to PR.

That gap we see between enrollment and residency is where many Malaysian families quietly lose the game.

Not because they don’t care.
Because nobody told them.

Great news!

The process to apply for an Australian visa just got easier thanks to the Australian Immi App.

Now live in 34 countries, the app allows eligible applicants to complete key biometric steps from their smartphones, helping reduce costs and processing times.

To be eligible, clients must have previously provided their biometrics (facial image and fingerprints) to the Department of Home Affairs and hold a valid passport.
