ဝင်ငွေခွန်စည်းမျဉ်းများ အရ

စည်းမျဉ်း ၈ တွင် ဆိုင်ရာဝင်ငွေနှစ်အတွင်း အခွန်ထမ်း၏ရငွေ သို့မဟုတ် ကုန်ကျစရိတ်များတွင် ကျပ်ငွေဖြင့်သာမက နိုင်ငံခြားငွေဖြင့်လည်းပါဝင်ပါက သို့မဟုတ် နိုင်ငံခြားငွေဖြင့်သာ ရရှိခြင်းဖြစ်ပါက ယင်း၏ စုစုပေါင်းဝင်ငွေနှင့် ပေးဆောင်ရန်အခွန်နှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍

(ခ) စည်းမျဉ်းခွဲ (က) ပါအတိုင်း တွက်ချက်ရရှိသည့် ကျပ်ငွေဖြင့် အခွန်ကို ကျပ်ငွေ သက်သက်ဖြင့် ပေးဆောင်စေရန် ပမာဏနှင့် နိုင်ငံခြားငွေသို့ ပြန်လည်ဖလှယ်၍ နိုင်ငံခြားငွေဖြင့် ပေးဆောင်စေရန် ပမာဏဟူ၍ အချိုးခွဲဝေရမည်။ ယင်းသို့ ခွဲဝေရာ၌ (၁) ကျပ်ငွေသက်သက်ဖြင့် ရငွေပမာဏနှင့် (၂) နိုင်ငံခြားငွေဖြင့် အမှန်ရရှိသည်ကို ကျပ်ငွေသို့ ဖလှယ်ထားသည့် ကျပ်ငွေပမာဏ၊

ယင်းနှစ်ရပ် အချိုးအတိုင်း ခွဲဝေရန် ဖြစ်သည်။

ယင်းနောက် ကျပ်ငွေဖြင့် အခွန်အချိုးပမာဏကို ကျပ်ငွေဖြင့် ပေးဆောင်စေရန်ဖြစ်ပြီး နိုင်ငံခြားငွေမှ ဖလှယ်ထားသည့် ကျပ်ငွေဖြင့် အခွန်အချိုးပမာဏကို နိုင်ငံခြားငွေသို့ ပြန်လည်ဖလှယ် တန်ဖိုးသင့်၍ ယင်းနိုင်ငံခြားငွေဖြင့် ပေးဆောင်စေရမည် ဟုဖော်ပြထားပါသည်။

In the 2024–2025 income tax return form, if a business earns income in foreign currency, tax must be calculated proportionately, and the payable tax must also be paid in foreign currency.

Since a section has been added in the form for this purpose, income and expenses in both MMK (Kyat) and foreign currency must be separated and disclosed accordingly.

Reference:

In this year’s income tax return form, in accordance with Income Tax Rules, Rule 8, Sub-rule (b), if the taxpayer has calculated and paid tax accordingly, a “Proportional Tax Calculation Format” must also be submitted along with the individual income tax return.

According to the Income Tax Rules:

Under Rule 8, if during the relevant income year the taxpayer’s income or expenses are in foreign currency as well as in Kyat, or are entirely in foreign currency, then for the purpose of calculating the total income and the tax payable:
• Sub-rule (b) states that tax must be calculated based on the proportion between:
1. the amount actually earned in MMK (Kyat), and
2. the amount actually earned in foreign currency, converted into Kyat.

This proportion should be applied in calculating the tax.

After that, the proportion of tax corresponding to MMK income must be paid in Kyat, and the proportion of tax corresponding to foreign currency income (converted to Kyat) must be converted back into foreign currency and paid in that foreign currency.
