In 2023, Arthur King was awarded the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals and went to Sweden to study Strategic Entrepreneurship for International Growth at Halmstad University 🇸🇪
Arthur’s education in Sweden empowered him to take a big leap of faith and start his own insurance brokering firm upon his return to Liberia. “I can confidently say that without the opportunity to study in Sweden, I would not have had the courage to take this bold entrepreneurial step at this time”, Arthur said.
Since then, the business has grown steadily while also creating employment opportunities for four young Liberians. Arthur shared that his entrepreneurial journey has given him economic independence and strengthened his sense of purpose.
