This week, The Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA-Kenya) marked their 40th year anniversary and Advocate Nick Omari of Muthoga & Omari Advocates was honored to be part of celebrants of their Fete in honour of their 40th Year Anniversary.
Since their inception in 1985 during the 3rd UN Conference on Women in Nairobi, FIDA’s core mission has been focused on increasing access to justice through legal representation, self-representation, mediation, and strategic impact litigation.
For seven years, Nick Omari has been a dedicated legal force at FIDA, providing expert representation and strategic advocacy for marginalized groups. His impactful work includes delivering legal talks, drafting briefs on women's and children's rights, and leveraging his role to empower vulnerable communities to access justice.
Muthoga and Omari Advocates and FIDA’s collaborative efforts have significantly contributed to the provision of free legal aid to over Kshs. 3 Million women in its 40-year history. Their corporate teamwork is driven by a shared vision of a society free from discrimination against women. Despite significant challenges, they have worked tirelessly to empower women to claim their rights in all spheres of life. May their continued partnership yield even greater achievements.

Yesterday, we at Muthoga & Omari Advocates Advocates traded our court shoes for running shoes, joining the Nairobi Standard Chartered Marathon with one goal- to run together as one, covering different distances from 5KM to 21KM.

It was an incredible opportunity to put teamwork, discipline, and endurance to the test, all while having fun along the way. The heat, the laughter, and every stride reminded us what happens when we move in purpose and passion.

Beyond promoting fitness, the experience strengthened our bond, lifted morale, and put our brand visibly in motion-literally.

Here at MOAdvocates, we believe that strong teams do not just work together, they also grow together and that is what we are experiencing.

We at Muthoga & Omari join Kenyans and the world in mourning the loss of our former Prime Minister, The Right Hon. Raila Odinga.
A towering political figure in our history, Hon. Odinga was a patriot at heart whose life was defined by an unwavering commitment to democracy, justice, and the ideals of a prosperous country. Any analysis of this country's political development must consider the profound influence of Hon. Raila Odinga. His legacy has left an indelible mark on our country's political and social fabric.
During this period of national grief, we reflect on Hon. Odinga’s success in expanding Kenya’s democratic space and his fight for Kenya’s progressive 2010 Constitution. We extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Odinga family, his friends, and all who are inspired by his life and political work.
May his legacy continue to guide our nation.
