Go-getters Youth Network is delivering measurable climate action on the ground.
On 35 acres of previously invaded land, we have undertaken a structured restoration process targeting Prosopis juliflora, one of the most aggressive invasive species affecting rangelands in Kajiado County.
Phase 1: Systematic thinning and clearing of Prosopis juliflora to open up degraded land and restore ecological balance.
Phase 2: Grass reseeding to rehabilitate soil cover, improve pasture productivity, and prevent re-invasion.
Phase 3: Visible regeneration — healthy grass cover now established, signaling restored ecosystem function and improved grazing potential.
This initiative is supported by World Vision Kenya under the K-SEED Project, in partnership with KALRO and COMMS SORALO.
The results are clear: degraded land can recover when youth leadership, technical expertise, and strategic partnerships converge.
Go-getters Youth Network is not just advocating for climate action — we are implementing scalable, community-driven restoration models that strengthen livelihoods and resilience.
We invite development partners, private sector actors, and conservation stakeholders to collaborate with us to restore more landscapes, rehabilitate more rangelands, and secure sustainable ecosystems for future generations.
The land can recover. With the right partnerships, we can accelerate that recovery.
