“We have a suggestion for anti LGBTQ proponents – stop rushing to the Bible, the Quran or even the Vedas for cover, you will lose the debate right from the onset. If you are African for example, you will be shot down by the simple argument that Christianity, or even Islam, are phenomena foreign to African culture! Otherwise, you will still be confronted by the age-old contention that morality has no business in the rule law. Instead, advance the argument that good law ought to pass both the pedigree and the content test. Pedigree merely means compliance with the procedural requirements for the passing of the law (in Kenya, a popular example is the requirement for public participation). As regards content, natural law thinkers submit that any ideal law must pass the test of its ability to preserve and propagate the human genome. So that a law that threats human existence must be viewed with skepticism, if not outright revolt. A law permitting, or worse still, encouraging, man to mate with fellow man or man with animal, portends an existential threat to the human genome and, if adopted by entire societies, will ultimately result to human extinction – humanity is not a su***de club!!”

STEPS ON HOW TO MAKE AN INSURANCE CLAIM IN KENYA
Wondering how to go about making an insurance claim? Here's how:
1. The need to inform the nearest police station about the incident: this should the first step towards your insurance claim process in Kenya. Ensure you have a police report regarding the incident which triggered your claim.
2. Inform your insurance company about the incident: once you have a police abstract report, you should report the incident to your insurance company. This will also allow the insurance company to gather its own information for adoption in their claims assessment process.
3. Get the claim form from your insurer or intermediary and fill every detail:most cases you can download the claim form from your insurer's website. After filling the insurance claim form, send it to your insurance company for processing. Remember to have your intermediary go through the form to ensure everything is filed properly.
4. Be wise and cooperate with the investigators: Your insurance company may opt to assign investigators to condiments the facts that you provided. Make sure you stay cooperative with them since their key assessment is to ascertain the truth.

TRADEMARK REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Before applying for the registration of a trademark, an applicant should first conduct a search to find out whether the trademark is registerable or not and to find out whether the trademark exists in the records, a trademark which could be confused for the intented trademark. An application for search and preliminary advice by the registrar should be made by the prospecting proprietor or his agent on Form TM27.
APPLYING FOR REGISTRATION:
A proprietor of a trademark should apply to the registrar on Form TM 2 accompanied by seven representations of the mark.
For a foreign applicant: It is required to file through and agent and the application should be accompanied by the form of authorization, Form TM 1 or the power of attorney duly completed and signed and must have a duty stamp. The application should be accomplished by Form TM 32 ( for entry of service in Kenya) the applicant is required to file a separate application for each mark in each different case.
