On 27th September 2025, QICL held its Annual General Meeting. In his address, the Chair reflected on the company’s performance, expressed gratitude to the retiring directors, and warmly welcomed the newly nominated directors. He also presented the audited books of accounts and shared the company’s vision as it embarks on a new financial year.

In a speech delivered on behalf of the Clerk of NYM by Assistant Recording Clerk Ann Keya, members were urged to build on QICL’s achievements by reducing reliance on traditional income streams from FIC and conferences at Vikwatani. Instead, the company was encouraged to diversify into new opportunities, including agribusiness projects in Molo and Elburgon, and the upgrading of Vikwatani with modern facilities such as a recreation park to host weddings and other functions.

The Clerk also emphasized the importance of enhancing marketing efforts to increase the use of existing facilities, including the boardroom and guest accommodation at Vikwatani. Additionally, he recommended exploring new service ventures such as cleaning, security, courier delivery, and water sales.

To stay competitive in today’s challenging economic climate, the speech underscored the need for QICL to embrace innovative and sustainable business models, with technology serving as a key driver of growth.
