A great move in the right direction. Cases at the tribunal take between 60 days to 180 days to be finalized due to specialization yet cases in the mainstream courts take between 18months to 24 months to finalize. By having a specific high court bench to handle Appeals from Tribunals, the turn around time for handing Appeals will significantly reduce. Litigant will therefore enjoy the same privileges in terms of expeditious disposal of cases.
