In 2013, Andrew Arinaitwe aka Kasasira was sentenced to 15 years in jail for stealing seven mandazis and nine sticks of ci******es from a shop.
He, however, disputed the sentence as too harsh given the nature of the crime, therefore appealed.
After carefully listening to the case, the three Court of Appeal judges unanimously agreed to uphold the earlier conviction, so the man will have to serve his 15 years.
