Complaint Letter against Kenya power lighting. Power Blackout in Garissa township During Holy month of Ramadan.
To: Kenya Power and Lighting Company(KPLC)
I wish to raise a serious complaint regarding the power blackout that occurred in Garissa Township at 7:30 pm, just as the holy month of Ramadan began.
This is a very important time for Muslims, especially during Isha and taraweh prayers .when families are breaking their fast. The blackout caused great inconvenience to residents, disrupted prayers, food preparation, and affected businesses.
It is unacceptable for such an outage to happen at such a sensitive and important time without prior notice or immediate response. Garissa residents deserve reliable electricity, especially during religious occasions.
The residents of Garissa TOWNSHIP requesting
Immediate explanation for the blackout.
Urgent restoration and assurance of stable power supply during Ramadan.
Better communication in case of planned outages.
Kindly treat this matter with urgency and respect for the community.
