🗼 Tokyo
No intro needed. Direct flight from KL, everyone’s been.
But real talk — most people do the same spots every time.
Shinjuku, Shibuya, done. Next trip, try Shimokitazawa instead.
🏯 Kyoto
Pricier than Tokyo, and more crowded than you’d expect.
But stumbling into a 100-year-old teahouse down a quiet alley?
Osaka can’t give you that. KL definitely can’t.
🦌 Nara
Most people just day-trip it. Staying one night is actually the move.
The deer are cute but they bite — don’t ask me how I know that haha.
🍜 Fukuoka
This one’s for the food people. Ramen, mentaiko, fresh seafood.
Cheaper than Tokyo, way fewer crowds.
About 6.5 hours from KL — honestly the best value Japan city right now.
❄️ Sapporo
Going in winter for the Snow Festival? Book accommodation 6 months out, no joke.
Going in summer? The weather is so good you’ll consider not coming home.
Then there’s Hiroshima, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Kobe, Okinawa —
every single one of them hits differently once you’ve actually been.
