The second edition of INTERNATIONAL YOUTH MODEL UNITED NATIONS was kick started jointly by the founder of IYMUN, Mr. Kundan Kumar , Secretary General (IYMUN 2017) Mr. Vaibhav Raj Pandey at SMS, Lucknow. The conference was held on July 29th & 30th,2017

IYMUN in it's second edition, has surpassed all expectations by being a par learning experience for the student community of Lucknow with participating in three committee simulations. The Commitees being UNGA, UNHRC &AIPPM; The highlight was the much sought after ADHOC simulation which discussed CPEC and other international affairs with high zeal. The committees have seen heated debate with the younger generation pro actively voicing strong opinions on a variety of Global and National issues . IYMUN achieved another milestone in its journey to empower youth voice and providing them access to fair-phased platforms to exhibit their thinkings and igniting their zeal .IYMUN continues its journey with its approach.

"The only way to do great work is to love what you do."

We, hereby, present the Director General of the International Youth Model United Nations 2017: Suryansh Palliwal. Suryansh has been a part of 5-6 MUNs and has been a member of the IYMUN team since the first edition. A Gorakhpur lad, he is a fourth year student from the ICFAI University, currently pursuing BBA-LLB. He takes keen interest in politics and is always ready to talk at lengths about the same. He knows his way around things and promises to deliver an enthralling experience for the delegates. We hope an amazing time under his presence and guidance at the conference. We, hereby , present you the Under Secretary General of the International Youth MUN 2017 : Aditi Srivastava. Aditi is a 11th grade student currently pursuing Science with Mathematics and Hindi in one of the elite schools of Lucknow, Mount Carmel College. Her unique choice of subjects clearly depicts her nature. She is an avid reader, debator and a speaker who believes in hard work and quality over quantity anytime. She knows how to handle even the worst situations with sheer wits and intelligence. She promises to deliver the best in the conference and is ready to help anyone, anytime. Kindly find the attachment for the background guide for the committee along with the ROPs below.
Use of electronic devices(laptop,mobile phones,tablets etc) are not permissible inside the committee. However, the delegates may refer to them only during the break. Only printed and hand-written materials may be used.
