External HR doesn’t fail because of bad advice.
It fails because no one gives it power.
Policies are written.
Frameworks are approved.
Everyone nods in meetings.
Then real life happens.
• Exceptions get approved
• Rules get “adjusted”
• Compliance becomes selective
• Accountability disappears
And slowly… the system weakens.
External HR can guide.
But only leadership can enforce.
Without authority, HR is just documentation.
With authority, HR protects the organization.
That’s the difference. 🔥
