The Division Bench of Hon'ble High Court of J&K in an important Judgement held that contractual appointees, and appointees on academic arrangement, in Govt. Degree Colleges of J&K, appointed before passing of Act of 2010 against clear vacancies be considered for regularisation, and also held that no further appointments on academic arrangement shall be made by Government. The High Court set aside the Judgement of Central Administrative Tribunal Srinagar and set at rest the long pending dispute. The efforts of counsels for petitioners and the meticulous appreciation by the Hon'ble Judges, have resulted in such a fruitful judgement.
