Russian hackers steal $2.5 billion from Jaguar Land Rover
A major investigation published yesterday by *The New York Times* has officially revealed that the devastating August 2025 cyberattack on **Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)** was orchestrated by a sophisticated group of **Russian hackers**. This massive digital siege resulted in a staggering **$2.5 billion (£1.9 billion)** loss for the UK economy and forced a complete six-week global production shutdown, which ultimately required an unprecedented £1.5 billion emergency loan from the UK government to rescue the automotive supply chain.
